In support of Help for Heroes

In Janaury 2010, I was asked by Sam Heardman and Caroline Branton if I would donate a painting towards a fundraising event they were putting on to help raise funds in support of Help for Heroes. I decided on producing something special for the event and set about sourcing some images to use as reference. The painting here is the outcome of that venture.

The fundraising event was held on 22 May 2010 and raised quite a sum for the charity. The painting entitled 'Hey mum. we're coming home', was auctioned at the end of the night and fetched over £200. Due to the high interest for the painting I have now produced some fine art Giclée print.
